Overhaul suction cup installation
A large player in the flower processing industry recently asked if Van Rijn could overhaul a suction cup machine that is used to automatically transport flower casks. The machine stacks the casks that are supplied on a rolling conveyor. This way, operators don’t have to do this manually.
Due to intensive use, the suction cups didn’t always stick to the casks. Also, due to years of use, a lot of dirt had built up in the corners and niches. One of our mechanics has replaced the suction cups, which means that they reliably suck the casks back in place. In addition, the installation has been completely cleaned, so that it looks like new again. Soon the installation will be reinstalled at the customer. This means that the customer will be able to use this transport installation again without disruptions in the coming period.
